At Shchakim, you can come, say goodbye to the deceased and be present at the execution of their final request, on the day of the cremation. Currently in Israel, there are dozens of green institutions and organizations for the preservation of the environment. Alternative burial enables the preservation of the environment and is one of the cornerstones of our activities. Not many people are aware of the pollution caused by burying bodies in the ground, a pollution that spreads to the groundwater and the air. Cremation of the body helps to prevent groundwater contamination, a contamination caused by burying bodies of the deceased in the ground. The cremation is performed using a state-of-the-art cremation machine (Opera) that allows for a short process without harming the environment.
